An American multinational company, which has grown to a world leader in automotive industry, building efficiency and power solutions is in a direct search for a suitable specialist for the position of Senior Voice Engineer in its Bratislava team.

Under the supervision of the Team leader voice service, the senior engineer will be part of the team driving the implementation of the new global IP telephony solution. The senior engineer will also receive guidance from their senior colleagues, the Service Managers for fixed and mobile voice services.

Responsibilities:

IP Tel deployment

• Overall responsibility for the deployment activities in his/her area.

• Maintain & operate communication with the vendors project managers, management, business management & IT organization

• Manages projects, using approved methodologies and planning resources

• Responsible for project planning, monitoring workflow, resources, adhering to project deadlines, cost analysis, and progress tracking responsibilities.

• Provide internal customer communication and project leadership in support of respective platform

Represent the GI EMEA voice services

• Voice Carrier Services

• Conferencing services

• Avaya Managed Services - service follow up

• Corporate Cell Phone Service Program (Orange and Vodafone)

• Create awareness of the Corporate Voice service portfolio and maintain the interface to the local business customers in the region. Key targets are the site managers, the financial controllers and local IT

Requirements:

• Certificate in IT/telecommunication (Bachelor or equivalent experience)

• Technical knowledge about voice services - PABXs & IP Telephony, cell phone & mobile data technology

• Working knowledge of voice and data networks (VoIP, T1's, PRI's, MPLS).

• Minimum 2 years project management experience for IT/telecommunication projects

• Experience in supplier management

• Market analysis & benchmarking

• Very good knowledge of the Telecom business in Europe

• Excellent communicate skills in English both verbal and written.

• Sound decision-maker.

• Ability to work with a diverse group of people of different skills, backgrounds, departments and management levels.
